The Mont de Cerisy

Le Mont Cerisy

A unique location in Normandy

A 276 meters high hill formed from pink granite arising abruptly from the surrounding fields with its 100 hectares of forest and literally thousands of rhododendrons that dramatically colour the hill pink and purple in May!

You can also visit the bombed-out ruins of a manor house built in 1895. The climb up the tower is a must, rewarding you with a stunning 360-degree panorama of the area.

There’re loads of activities to enjoy, right in the heart of nature and just 10 minutes from Flers

Mini-golf, hiking trails, a petanque area, a fitness trail, a tennis court, 4 mountain bike circuits and lots of picnic tables are all at your disposal.

Especially for nature lovers

In spring, take a stroll through the flower-filled avenues of pear and apple orchards, a true symbol of Normandy, and test your knowledge as a family by following our mascot, the spotted woodpecker, along a 2 km nature trail. It will lead you to the best spots on the site.

Organise the best games of hide and seek!

The size and thickness of the rhododendrons make them ideal hiding places! Who will have the best hiding place?

Thirsty or peckish?

A bar-crêperie offers refreshments, homemade ice creams, and galettes… Open Tuesday to Sunday all year round from 11am to 9pm.

Did you know?

The granite hill of Le Mont de Cerisy bears many similarities to another famous granite mound: Mont-Saint-Michel.

Free access, toilets, play area, picnic tables.
