Fishing in the Vère

From Pont de Vère to Pont-Erambourg: The Vère flows through a deep valley between Flers and Condé-sur-Noireau and is particularly interesting downstream of the town of Flers. It is mainly populated by medium-sized but numerous brown trout, which can be fished with toc but also with minnows, lures and flies.
Practical information Numerous access points via the road which follows the river for 12km.

Fishing in the Noireau

From Montsecret to Caligny, the Noireau is a 43km-long tributary of the Orne, offering anglers a variety of profiles from stream to large river. In some places it meanders and is home to an attractive trout population. The river is ideal for toc, lure and minnow fishing, as well as fly fishing in the lower reaches. The Noireau is classified as a 1st category river.

Fishing around La Ferté-Macé

Numerous 1st and 2nd category fishing lots in the Fertois sector, with the Gourbe, Vée and Maure rivers offering a variety of landscapes. Trout are regularly released from March to May on some stretches of river.

Fishing in the Rouvre valley

From Chant des cailloux to Taillebois to La Roche d’Oëtre: the unspoilt river Rouvre offers idyllic scenery and a large population of wild trout. Fishing techniques change with the seasons (toc, fly and lures).
Worth knowing: from the Maison de la Rivière (Ségrie-Fontaine) to the Roche d’Oëtre, there is a no-kill fishing trail for all techniques.
the 1km “Pêche-Nature” trail for the general public (families, people with reduced mobility) allows you to discover the joys of fishing in complete safety.

The CPIE des Collines Normandes offers fishing activities with a qualified instructor-guide for a family day out on the banks of the Rouvre or for technical training.
Bookings required when fishing is open (March to September).
