The Maison du Paysage is former mill, nestling in the heart of the valley of the Rouvre, one of the most beautiful rivers in Normandy. Its Café Nature offers hot and cold drinks, ice creams from the farm and a shop stocked with local produce and informative literature.

It’s also a space that changes with the seasons: the “Biodiversity Information Point” will help you discover the surrounding flora and fauna, sometimes in surprising ways!

The CPIE Collines Normandes association, which manages the site, organises public events throughout the year. The programme is available from the Maison du Paysage or on its website. Ideal to enjoy with friends or family, there’s a fishing trail and a “La Rouvre en famille” discovery trail. Many other family orientated activities between April and September: a free treasure hunt and “Nature en sac” (€5 per family) where you are given a bag containing everything a young naturalist needs to set off and explore the river and its banks!

There is also a year-round programme of themed nature outings organised by the Orne Departmental Council (€2.50/person) and the CPIE Collines Normandes.
In this unspoilt green setting there are picnic tables, garden furniture and outdoor games available free of charge: Molkky, giant Mikado and other games.
